Purpose of the Job:

To work towards marketing targets in line with strategic plans to grow the share of the market for Foyle. To play a leading role in developing the Foyle International brand on a global perspective with an emphasis on the markets outside of Europe.

Description of Work and Tasks:

  • Implementation of marketing plans including digital marketing.
  • Writing and posting new engaging content to attract new clients on: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Foyle International website, and LinkedIn.
  • Work with your manager to ensure you have a clear view of what is required to achieve results and take appropriate action to deliver it.
  • Promote and communicate with our clients through our various social media platforms.
  • Creation of content such as infographics, blogs, emails and advertising banners
  • Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign etc)
  • Good analytical ability with an ability to report on KPI’s and analyse web data
  • Monthly reports on social media trends, tools, emerging platforms and internet culture.
  • Complete tasks as directed by management.
  • Assist other departments with various tasks if necessary.
  • Provide market support for European funded programmes.
  • Provide support for recruitment of host families and local promotions.
  • Maintaining and updating marketing databases through our CRM/Administration system.
  • Liaise with Academic Manager in regards to all course development including online courses.
  • Maintaining and developing e-marketing campaigns through mail chimp.
  • Administration duties as deemed necessary
  • Any reasonable request from your Manager or the Director
  • Be willing to cover for team members in times of absence
  • Attend weekly team meeting

Working Hours:

The employee’s working week will consist of 35 hours from Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)

Requirements:

Work Experience ·         Experience working marketing particular digital marketing

·         Experience of building relationships with customers

·         Proven experience of working in a customer service focussed role

·         Proven experience of working in a team setting

·         Experience working within the Tourism industry or in International Markets

·         Personally effective – excellent organisational skills, and ability to prioritise

·         Ability to work to tight deadlines

·         Understanding of sensitivity and confidentiality involved when dealing with staff and students

·         Understanding of different cultures/ nationalities

 

 Participant Fee:

300€ for Poland, 400€ for Slovenia, 500€ for the Netherlands and 700€ for Germany (once for the whole period)

 Financial Conditions:

  • Preparation meetings before the internship
  • Lump sum for the travel (275€)
  • Accommodation and subsistence in kind or monthly support of 947€ (guaranteed minimum amount that can be higher – depending on the company)
  • Ticket for the public transports
  • Language training (3 weeks or equivalent)
  • Monitoring and regular meetings on the hosting side
