ProMove – promotion of long term mobility in VET
The ProMove Project results of a Call for proposals requested by the European Parliament to the Commission in 2015. It shall set out to test the viability of setting up “A European framework for mobility of apprentices: Developing European citizenship and skills through youth integration in the labour market” and builds upon a first Pilot Project of similar nature launched in 2016.
In order to reduce youth unemployment, many Member States of the European Union had been asked by the European Commission to reform their labour market. With the promotion of work based learning and the necessary for young people to gain professional experiences, they have the common ambition to implement new laws and regulations to redefine the purpose and performance of Vocational Education Training schools.
The aim of the promotion of apprenticeships and work-based learning would be to help young people to improve their skills and employability prospects. But especially long-term transnational apprentice mobilities whose provide the highest improvement of professional, personal and social skills. Longer the apprenticeship is more relevant young people are for the labour market and the companies. And because VET is the most durable way for the Member States to reform their labour markets and to reduce youth-unemployment, we decided, thanks to the ProMove Project, to understand the difficulties and obstacles that prevent a stronger implementation of long-term apprenticeships in the European Union.
Project Beschreibung
Das Projekt „Pro Move“ will sowohl die Auszubildenden nach Abschluss ihrer Ausbildung als auch die aufnehmenden Betriebe darin unterstützen, längere Berufspraktika (6 Monate und länger) durchzuführen. Zentral ist dabei die Entwicklung einer Webseite, auf denen Firmen und Betriebe, die Auszubildende aus anderen Ländern aufnehmen möchten, ihr Praktikums-Angebot beschreiben. Die Auszubildenden können sich dann auf diese Angebote bewerben. Der größte Anteil der anfallenden Reise- und Aufenthaltskosten wird von der Europäischen Kommission getragen.

Het doel van het project „Pro Move“ is om de leerlingen na hun opleiding en de ontvangende bedrijven te ondersteunen bij het uitvoeren van langere beroepsstages (6 maanden en langer). De belangrijkste focus ligt op de ontwikkeling van een website, waarop bedrijven en fabrieken die leerlingen uit andere landen willen opnemen, hun stage-aanbod beschrijven. Dan kunnen de leerlingen deze aanbiedingen aanvragen. Het grootste deel van de reis- en verblijfskosten wordt vergoed door de Europese Commissie.

Projekt „Pro Move“ ma na celu wspieranie praktykantów po zakończeniu szkolenia, a także firm przyjmujących w realizacji dłuższych staży zawodowych (6 miesięcy i dłużej). Główny nacisk położony jest na stworzenie strony internetowej, na której firmy i fabryki, które chciałyby podjąć praktyki u innych krajów, opisują swoją ofertę stażu. Następnie uczniowie mogą ubiegać się o te oferty. Największa część kosztów podróży i utrzymania pokryta jest przez Komisję Europejską.

El objetivo del proyecto „Pro Move“ es apoyar a los aprendices después de completar su capacitación, así como a las empresas receptoras en la realización de pasantías vocacionales más largas (6 meses o más). El enfoque principal está en el desarrollo de un sitio web, en el que las empresas y fábricas, que deseen contratar aprendices de otros países, describan su oferta de pasantías. Entonces los aprendices pueden solicitar estas ofertas. La mayor parte de los gastos de viaje y estancia está cubierta por la Comisión Europea.

Cilj projekta „Pro Move“ je podpreti vajence po končanem usposabljanju in podjetjih, ki prejemajo pri opravljanju daljše poklicne pripravništva (6 mesecev in več). Glavni poudarek je na razvoju spletne strani, na kateri podjetja in tovarne, ki želijo prevzeti vajence iz drugih držav, opisujejo svojo ponudbo za stažiranje. Potem se lahko vajenci prijavijo za te ponudbe. Največji del potnih stroškov in dnevnic pokriva Evropska komisija.

Lo scopo del progetto „Pro Move“ è quello di supportare gli apprendisti dopo il completatamento della loro formazione e le aziende riceventi nello svolgimento di tirocini professionali di maggiore durata (6 mesi e oltre). L’obiettivo principale è quello di sviluppare una piattaforma online, sulla quale aziende e compagnie, che vorrebbero assumere apprendisti da altri paesi, possano offrire tramite una dettagliata descrizione dei corsi di stage. Qui gli apprendisti potranno poi fare domanda per queste offerte. La maggior parte dei costi di viaggio e soggiorno è coperta dalla Commissione europea.
